Profit margins on Pick and Mix products are traditionally excellent. With the majority of P&M favourites available at *£10 -£11 per 3kg bag (£12 – £13.20 inc VAT) and retailing at £1.20 per 100g (inc VAT) the profit on retail will typically average 65% – a magnificent mark up of close to 200%.
At these margins an investment in a fully ready to serve Martek P&M display will completely pay for itself (ROI) from between 1 and 2 fillings – That is – fill the display once or twice and the cost outlay is paid back leaving all future sales to generate a very healthy profit.
